Good Luck for Saturday girls x
We would like to say thank you to everybody who turned up at the Cross hands for our quiz night in November. We raised over £100 for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Southmead Hospital. It's great to be able to raise money through the running club for local charities and hopefully we will continue to do this in 2014.
Come and join us in Emersons Green for our buggy walking, jogging or running session. We meet outside Emersons Green library, Emersons Way, Bristol, BS16 7AP on the second and last Friday of the Month. The session is free so there is no excuse people (you can even join us if you are running without at baby in a buggy)!!. Meeting time - 10am.
It’s been a tough start to the year for running with all the snow but now the weather seems to be getting better and we can start looking at our running plans for 2013. Many of the JustJog girls are running the Bath Half Marathon and to get there longer runs in they are meeting up on Sundays morning’s in Frenchay. At JustJog we will try and do some longer runs for the girls on Monday and Saturday mornings. The Bath Half is the first main run to greet us and from then on the running diary can get busy with events happening weekly. JustJog look forward to 2013, I hope we will have personal best times, first 5k and 10k runs completed and more importantly more women out running. Liz and Jessie x
Over the next couple of months JustJog are raising money for a local Charity in Bristol. The Willow Tree Centre in Yate offers free counseling for unplanned prenancy and support following the loss of a baby. For many women they are there when they need it most. All of our girls running the Wyvern Christmas Cracker our raising money towards the cause. We are holding a coffee morning at Jessie's house and also doing a raffle at the Christmas meal. JustJog aim to help local charities in and around Bristol through various running events. The girls at JustJog Frenchay and Brislington always support the charity 100% and this makes us very proud. Thank you Girls for your continued support.

Are you under 25? If the answer is yes then you can join our JustJog running clubs for free!
We are working with Access Sport and our aim is to encourage younger women between ages of 16 to 25 to participate in sport. Running really is a worthwhile sport and many girls may have talent they don't know about because they've never given it a go.
The benefits are huge both physically and mentally so why not give it a go, it won't cost anything to join and you'll take away more then you ever imagined if you stick at it.
